My machineroom

This is the room where I keep my computers and other hi-tech devices.

In this photograph you can see, from left to right, an Amiga 1200 connected to a computer CRT monitor via an exeternal flicker fixer, an Amstrad CPC 464 with a monochrome monitor, an Atari 65XE, a Sinclair Spectrum ZX (48K), a Commodore 64 with its datassette, a VHS digitizing set composed by a 14“ TV set, a combo DVD-VHS video recorder and a HP computer with a video capture device. Under the desk there is an HP Proliant server with SCSI disks and a DAT tape drive. It's not powered on because of the noise it makes…

On the other side of the photograph there is a 24U 19” rack cabinet containing the electronics for my network: a Cisco 24 port gigabit switch, a Ubiquiti PoE Tough Switch which feeds the wifi radios from the roof, a router to access guifi.net, a Lan router and several servers. The Lan router is a fanless minicomputer which runs a Opnsense router appliance and the guifi.net router is a Mikrotik Routerboard 2011iL:

Everything is routed to the Internet through a FTTH line provided by eXO.cat.
